JK Appliance Repair was established in 2005 by Jerry and Karien Cloete. What began as a hobby turned into a full time business when in May 2007 Jerry started the appliance repair section within the Family-in-law business (Ltt Radio and Electrical Centre). In December 2022 Jerry and Karien decided to spread their wings and continue with JK Appliance Repair.

Jerry qualified as an Aircraft Weapons Electro-Mechanician in 2003 and did his red seal as Refrigeration Mechanic in 2011. Jerry is the hands-on person responsible for all the technical aspects within the business.

Karien is the friendly face and voice inside the office. She handles all the administrative tasks and orders all the critical spares required by the technical department. She books in all the client repairs and handles most queries.
